I'm an engineer and I like to test things thoroughly. Over the last two years I've owned three different robot vacuums, two of them considerably pricier. This is the only one that's stuck around. The navigation is more logical, it gets stuck less often, and the cleaning performance on hard floors is simply better. I sold the other two. The suction power is genuinely excellent, no complaints there. Pet hair, crumbs, dust – it picks everything up reliably and always finds its way back to the dock. I'll dock one star for the app, which can be a bit sluggish and doesn't always update the map instantly. Not a big deal for me since I mostly start it via the button on the unit, but if you plan to rely heavily on the app, worth knowing. Doesn't affect the actual cleaning result though, which is flawless.
I expected a lot, but not this. My two sons (6 and 9) find the robot so fascinating that they actually argue over who gets to empty the dust bin after each run.
